SEW Different - a monthly group for 13-16 year olds

Would you like to customise or upcycle your own clothes?  Are you interested in learning some basic sewing skills so that you can recycle, alter and design your own projects?

SEW Different is a group especially for teenagers aged 13-16 years who would like to learn use a sewing machine, and some new hand sewing skills so that they can experiment with different fabrics or create something new from preloved clothing, bags and other fabrics.

Basic tools will be available - just bring along a pieced of preloved clothing, fabric or even an unwanted duvet cover, and let's see what we can make together!

The sessions will be informal - no pressure and work at your own pace.  There is no expectation to complete a project - if you just want to be creative and see what happens then that's ok too.  I will be there to help you.
