Japanese Boro and Sashiko Workshop - an introduction

Why not try this simple and relaxing hand sewing technique with me?  This workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of Sashiko and is an easy technique for even the most reluctant hand sewist!  Using simple running stitches, you can create wonderful patterns and images that can be used to decorate and mend clothing.  At a time when we are all thinking about upcycling and reusing our clothing, this technique is a great one to use and you can make it as simple or as complex as you wish.  Come and give it a go!  All materials provided. 8 places available.
